Bastiaan van Aarle lives in Mortsel, Belgium and works at d’Academie Beeld in Sint-Niklaas. He studied bachelor and master photography at LUCA school of arts and did an internship with Olaf Otto Becker in Munich. His work has been exhibited in national and international museums such as M Museum, Pennings Foundation, WARP and Le Botanique. Hatje Cantz published his books '01:20' and 'Moving Mountains'.
